I have been waiting to get the Gunwerks, is that problem you're having part of why they are replacing every gen one? I listened to their latest podcast and they talked about the fact they had a problem, but didn't dive into what the problems were. Using a Spartan now, just thought the Gunwerks...
If you can fit the shorter NF NX8 2.5-20 on your action (it's short at 112" vs 13.4" for the 4-32) would be a great choice. I have both and find that shooting out to 1000 at my house, the 2.5-20 has enough to hit the targets, and spot my impacts at lower settings. The nice thing of the 4-32 is...
I picked up an Arken scope for my 6 arc build. I wasn't expecting too much, but was pleasantly surprised. Might be an option to look at. I thought the Arken was better glass than the Vortec DB tactical that I have. Looking at Arken website, they have a 4-16 at $200 might be worth a try...
Just for the veterans, there’s a page called ExpertVoice. They carry discounts on all sorts of different brands, but I came across Revic on there for a 40% discount. So nice of them to offer such a substantial discount! You can sign up and just use your DD214 for verification...
I do love the Nightforce NX8 with the MOA Reticle. I use the NX8 2.5-20 and the 4-32 on my other "good " hunting rifles. I like that the reticle uses the MOA hashmarks, and it is like using my other scopes. That being said, I just won a Ruger American Gen 2 in 450 Bushmaster, there is no way I...
Can I ask why you are selling it? I was using a Magneto Speed this last weekend, and was thinking that it was such a pain to get set right that a LabRadar, or a Garmin would be better.
That is the hard part, I have heard that both work, but the Garmin is better. I have been on the fence to spend the $500 on a garmin, but $350 for the LabRadar would have been an awesome price a year ago... I have heard that the LabRadar customer service was difficult.... hard decison to...
Just shot my buddy's Gunwerks Nexus with the 20" barrel in a 300prc, and it was damn near a one hole group at 100yds. the stock is super comfortable, and trigger was nice and crisp as well. I need to chrono his 20' against my Gunwerks Magnus 300prc with a 22" barrel just to see what the fps...
6ARC weighs in 9.384lbs Spikes lower receiver with Aero upper and handguard. Magpul PRS lite stock 18” Faxon fluted barrel and the Vortex PST GEN 2 5-25. Started sighting it in, and was amazed at how well it shot!!
Just a build I did with an Aero receiver set, Smoke Composites stock and grip with a Brigand Arms carbon handguard. Gas block, takedown pins, firing pin, BCG and everything I could get in titanium was done, Faxon pencil barrel (wanted a Proof but thought I’d spent enough) and a drop in trigger...
I'm right there with you. Never had to headspace an AR. I built an Aero P with a 18" Faxon barrel, and it is prob one of the most accurate rifles I have. It's really a great round, barely any recoil... Have just started to sight it in, and it made me want to have it in a bolt gun as well...
