The $200 savings is from a “$699 MRSP,” when literally everyone else on the internet sells it for $599.

So ultimately it’s $100 off. Still nice, but there have been 20% and 15% discounts from other vendors (who didn’t charge tax — no idea if AO does).

Where are you finding the discount? I was hoping to get a 10% military discount somewhere, but haven't looked too hard yet. A 15-20% would be awesome!

There are vendors here who do 10%.

The 15-20% seem to have dried up. There were some codes posted when it first came out. I bought mine on 15% discount, no tax, and free shipping.

I know Cabelas has a tough time keeping these in stock; however, they have recently upped their military/veteran discount to 10% off for everything except firearms and ammunition.

Oh I know, I’ve pretty much picked up anything I want from Garmin for 45% off for the last 10 years, it’s good to know people that work there yet aren’t into what they sell. Each employee can buy 10 or so items a year at 45% off. Best find you a friend there.
