Rubber boots dont breath at all which doesnt help. Get a good leather or synthetic boot, and ice breaker boot blankets. I could never sit for more than 2 hours is cold weather, I can now sit all day with ice breakers and hand warmers thrown in them.
NO binos but I bought an Optika6 from Cameraland earlier this year, that scope is fantastic. I just bought a viper scope for a good price and regret that, its not nearly as nice as the Optika. I do like the viper binos I got, but go with the meopta and dont look back.
Neither of you is technically wrong. Mechanicals tend to be without having a tuned bow, if your bow is tuned correctly, fixed should be as accurate as mechanical.
Fanatic will be too warm for anything above 35. Go with the stratus set with the Celsius and equinox midis for the cold days, and then fill in with the mountain or traverse pants and jacket of your choice for early season and going out west.
Will it work, yes. Will it work as well, no. The fanatic is hefty, but super warm and well thought out. The jetstream is a decent shell, but much louder, and not terribly warm. Even with the kelvin underneath it wouldnt be as warm as the fanatic.
Just got a pair of 10x42 vipers yesterday so I have no real time behind them, but they are impressive. I generally take my glasses off, but I'm sure they would work with them too.
I'll trust my G20 over a better looking P320. Those guns have a track record of going off while being in a holster, not too mention going off when dropped.
Any rubber boot, especially those mucks suck or walking 100 yards let alone a mile. I used to have this issue, but I now have an 800 gram pair of danners, I change socks when I get in stand, and after 15-30 minutes I put some ice breaker boot blankets on. After an hour or two with those on I...
