Just bought my first muzzle loader

Looking to extend deer season, so I just bought a CVA MRX 45, but I don't know a damn thing about muzzle loaders/loading. I know I need primers, bullets, and either powder or pellets but I definitely don't know which ones I should be buying.

I would appreciate your recommendations on what to buy, and perhaps where I might buy it, add if there's anything I've overlooked.

My CVA accura loves white hot powder with the aerotip powerbelts, and thats what CVA recommends. Pellets are much easier if your new.

CVA recommends Blackhorn 209 and CVA Powerbelt ELRs for the 45 cal MRX. There has been issues with over size bores with the 45 MRX. Mine sure is.....

If you can swing it, now that’s it’s off season, spend some time with the blackhorn 209.
