Big improvement!
I've only wore my Lowa Tibets 3 miles with a 70# pack using the stock footbeds, that was 3 weeks ago. You can still feel/see my toe grooves.
I bought the synergy footbeds and have done around 11 miles ad they have been great so far.
I ended up ordering the grab-it, camp bag and guid lid for my day setup. Also ordered the Argali for my main bag.
I'll carry the empty camp bag until I drop camp off. Then I'll ditch the Argali and convert to the camp bag for day mode.
I haven't got my setup yet, it should ship by the end of the...
Thanks for all the input guys, I still can't make up my mind.
I started looking hard at the Kifaru Argali it would be a pretty light setup but I'm not sure about only having a top loading pack with no zippers. I love all the other features kifaru offers as in how modular their systems are. A...
I don't really see info on torso size in the SG does anyone know if it will fit my 21" torso proper?
I'm torn between trying SG or Kifaru at this point.

The Marshall is great, first pack I've owned of this caliber. My previous pack was a...
I'm 6'2" and have a 21" torso, I thought about the krux being for flat backs only but wouldn't the MR be as well? I do have a curved lower back, I did the test Aron suggested on one of the thousands of vidios I watched on YouTube.
Well... I'm just looking for something a little better. Aren't we all?
I guess my main goal is to be able to break the large pack Down to make for a much lighter functioning day pack.
The parts and pieces I mentioned getting from kifaru will cost almost as much as buying/trying the much lighter...
Im looking for someone who has tried both brands to tell me how they compare comfort under weight wise.
I currently have a MR Marshall and was intrigued by SG's weight difference in packs. I have used mine on one 4 day trip and was fortunate enough to to experience carrying an animal with it...
