Ouch. My daughter was introduced to the wonders of super glue last week as she was doing cartwheels in the living room and gut up and close with the coffee table. She took the corner of the leg to the head. A little pressure and some super glue and she was as good as new.:)
Aaron,
I just got an email for CampSaver with a 20% off coupon code TETON-20. They had some good prices on some of their products. Just thought I would share.
I love to see videos like these. Do not get me wrong I like the Primos Truth series of elk hunting videos but, to see videos like this get my blood pumping.
+1 Justin. I cannot even begin to list all the gear I have purchased because of the likes of Aron and Evan just to name a few on this site let alone the others that I frequent.
Can you say Colofornia. I am sure my dad is rolling over in his grave at a National Cemetery. My uncles in South Dakota keep asking me when I am moving back.
This is the layering system I use in Colorado that seems to work pretty well. I take off and put on as needed.

I have the original Timberline-2 (5200 c.i.) and love it for both rolls. This past season I packed and entire boned ewe sheep out minus the trophy load in one trip. The pack carries like a dream no hot spots or fatigue with the load. I am guessing with my gear and the meat I was close to 75...
If my memory serves me correctly Aron used to use a Radiant bag from REI. When I purchased my Marmot Helium I talked with Aron and opted for the Marmot. I am curious to the answers you will get with the pairing of a down bag and a tarp/floorless shelter.
With the REI warranty you could always...
Those are pretty good. There is just not much there in terms of volume of food, they do not last me very long during a regular day let a lone out on a hunt.
I use the Space Rain from Cabela's as well. You just have to be realistic about your expectations for the product. It is super light but the trade off is it is not super durable. In Colorado it is fine but in the Northwest or Alaska I would want something heavier for sure.
I have the M&P-C in a 40. I have yet to shoot it but I love the size and the way it fits my hand. Not being a hater or anything as glocks and xds are great weapons, I did not like the way they fit my hand. I am also a left and the M&P-full size and compact are supper easy to switch over to a...
littlebuf, if Kifaru replace or repair your stuff sacks for you? I am just curious if they took care of you, I have not heard of anyone having any issues with their Kifaur equipment.
Interesting I am interested on the two of your reviews during scouting. For you floorless guys do you worry about your down bags getting wet or do youput the bag in a bivy?
I am also interested in where you got the material and the cost of putting the bags together. I bet with a little bit of bribing i can get the family and consumer science (home economics) teacher at my school to sew them for me.
