    I have the Badlands pack … SEEMES heavy to me but, I planned on using it as an entire hunting season day pack. From whitetails to most any trip / hunt that I hope to go on. It fits more than enough for a day. Just curious if you guys rely on one pack like this ?

    Thanks for Thank you for the suggestion…. I’m fine with MY decisions and I’d also like to clarify that I DO NOT have an irresponsible demeanor. IF I painted a picture of my home having guns and other harmful items CARELESSLY strewn about, I apologize. That is NOT the case at all.

    I’m 53 now and my boys are 12 and 14. I perfectly agree with you on guns, knives and EVERYTHING else that would need to be put away…. HOWEVER - I also see and 100% agree with the circumstances that dictate RESPONSIBILITY when kids friends are around.

    No THEY don’t and I NEVER assume they would. THAT is the time(s) that I secure ALL of my firearms. My comments were based on what I perceived as storing firearms at home WITHOUT kids friends around. You are SPOT ON in your comments and views for kids company times. Thank you. Frank

    I've used the same on a few of my stocks and for friends stocks too. Lightly sanded in some areas as needed.

    Filling/strengthening hollow synthetic stock before installing cheek riser

    I used some wall repair mix from Home Depot once ... I can't remember if it was fiberglass reinforced or not? But, it was not heavy, mixed well and did the job on an older Ruger rifle. It may be worth a look in the hardware stores ?

    Thanks again for the welcome(s) .... I'm actually on Orlando / Kissimmee border and for the last few years, the building boom has been HORRENDOUS !! >>> As far as hunting and shooting? ---- I go anywhere I can.. mostly with friends that have property (St. Cloud, Orlando and Wildwood areas)...
