RF binos and mil quick drop was the ticket to killing my 7x6 Roosevelt last year. Time from spotting the bull to first round impact was fast and needed to be, he was about to head over the ridge.
I could never go back to a handheld RF.
I have a 7tw 24" 6cm barrel on the way from PVA. It will be my 2025 hunting barrel. They only offer 7tw for Tikka prefits, but the bore diameter and groove give me comfort that stuff won't blow up. I have a pile of 106tap to shoot through it. We'll see. 🤞

Looking at the Leupold website, the FFP TMR 2.5-10 that HAS illumination looks to have a .1mil center dot and .1mil inner reticle thickness, similar to the Maven SHR-Mil. Anyone have the illuminated version in hand to confirm this?
The non-illum 2.5-10 TMR FFP shows a .05 thick reticle and no...
Accurate mags 5rd and 10rd for matches (2.95col). A bit of play/rattle and noisier when racking.
MDT 5rd poly for hunting (2.85col). Way quieter and a more snug fit.
I'm not sure that is correct. For the non-illum data sheet, the gap in the very center of the TMR does measure .1 mil, but the actual inner posts of the reticle look to be .05 mil thick.
For those who shoot/hunt with the 6GT:
1. In a 24" barrel, could I comfortably get 2900ish fps handloading H4350 with the 109eldm in an optimized chamber without loading hot/compressed? Hodgdon shows 2972 at 62k with 38g, but most folks seem to be loading in the 35-37g range.
2. Does the GT...

Do you have a photo?
I have two, both with a lot of use. My older one is a smidge mis-aligned but not enough to cause any issue. I recieved it that way. My newer one is perfectly aligned.
For almost anyone that doesnt read Rokslide, it takes seeing results first hand to accept big game hunting with small, shootable cartridges using good killing bullets.
Almost everyone I end up hunting with shoots magnums, mostly custom guns with custom ammo and everytime I bring the 22cm it...
