I recommend REI for their boot return policy. Just have to find one that fits your foot. I had the same heel slip issue with Lowas that I otherwise loved. Crispis were money for me out of the box.
Check my post history - I took pics of new 18x50 vs previous gen 16x42. So far the 18’s suck and they’ve gone back to sig for warranty inspection.
I’ll update my post when Sig gives me a finding.
Other than low light sucking with the previous gen Zulu6, they’re my go to for pretty much...
No my theory isn't that they don't know Rokslide is driving sales, more that they accidentally spec'd a scope from LOW that happens to be rugged while their other scopes aren't. As long as they hold inventory in those (non-ruggedized) scopes, they can't acknowledge that only one model they sell...
Correct, but my guess is that it will be cost competitive with Garmin without the need for a dedicated device. Saving $20/month for a couple years will add up as well.
Go 18"
I'm getting 2650 fps with 43g H4350 147's loaded at 2.9 in COAL. Works great with factory M+ mags. 18" Ember with Banish Backcountry suppressor.
Got 2650 fps with 42.8g 143 ELDX loaded a bit shorter for MDT AICS mags. 18" Tikka Superlite with Banish 30.
2650 fps with 18" Bergara HMR...
No I dumped my Garmin. All in on free satellite communication. The starlink direct that's coming to Tmobile iphones that I previewed this weekend is the nail in the coffin. only exception is that GPS MIGHT be a little more reliable seeing as how it's a US DoD asset.
I don't know what's going on but I'm in TMobile and started getting starlink wifi out here in the woods. No clue how I'm browsing internet but it appears direct to cell has started...
Well dang. I've reached out to Sig and they're supposed to email me for pics, but I'm disappointed to say the least.
I adjusted diopter on the 18's finally and put these on a tripod. Target was at 785 yards. Magview app on same phone camera settings.
This definitely matches what I saw in the...
I need to do more testing. Not a huge slam dunk unfortunately.
First impressions were that the 18's are significantly heavier and larger. Tolerable I guess.
Glassing up some bulls about 2000+ yds away, I was surprised that I could resolve antler tines with my 16's but not new 18's. Color was...
I just texted my wife today from a dead zone in a canyon. She got the text and responded.
We're both 14 Pro. I'm on 18.0 and she is 17.XX
Works way better than my Garmin IMO. I usually carry my work iphone as well so I'll have a backup there too.
I got my 18's this week finally. I'll try to compare them to the 16's this weekend in the field.
Cameraland has them mispriced I think at $100 off. The Get Deal button on scopelist went away once they sold out quickly, but it was about $30 more than cameraland for me.
Apparently Tmobile quietly launched their direct to starlink feature for some people already. Seems like that is seamless without the need for dead zone and direct connection...
