If my solver has G7 for the BC, I true velocity in the 500-600 yard range, and BC at the 1000+. If my solver has custom curves, like others have mentioned, I just run with my velocity from Garmin or Magneto and just fine tune from there if needed. My Magneto speed needed a little fps tweak here...
Yup, I keep a Stihl 362 in the truck. It's been used more than once to get back down when wind or snow fell a tree across the road while I was out hunting. I forgot it one time and had to turn around when snow dropped a clump of trees across the road and was pissed all day. I've also had success...
You nailed it! I've had to notch the feedramp on all my mag fed SA rifles that take advantage of the longer SA mag boxes today approaching 3.00"
You did the same thing a gunsmith does but without the hourly charge. I will say the first time the dremel hits an anTi your heart picks up a beat...
I bought a pair for LE elk hunt last year, and wanted to love them but ended up using my swaro's almost the entire trip instead. I got very quick eye fatigue. If I looked for more than a minute or two and took my eyes out of the binos, the regular view was blurry for a second, like I could never...
Looks like these will work with a big eyes setup at around 2.375 IPD so for those of us narrow eyes users who couldn’t make the STC work, these will be fantastic! Can’t wait!

I'd pull off the pack lid, sherman pocket, and any hip pouches. I'd take 1L of filled water on a day hunt with a few drops to fill up in an emergency and hydrate heavily before you depart and when you return. I wouldn't pack a pump or filter for that trip. Id buy a cheap scalpel blade type knife...
Man I thought I was rad when I sewed a new material into the lumbar of my pack! This is awesome. Well done. Cool how you did the tubing to build your action inlet portion. Makes me want to tour a big stock facility to see how stuff is made! Following along with excited insterest.
Packs at work, but this video kinda shows it about 50 seconds in. You leave those two loops on under the bag as it slides on the top of the frame. This vid should help.

You need to keep two of the little ark frame webbing pieces to attach your shoulder strap load lifters to the ark frame when the bag is off the frame due to meat or gear. I leave mine attached under the bag and tape them in place for when I need to convert to load shelf mode.

Outdoorsman stud last few years. Now the Aziak B7 Sparrow I think it is. I like not needing to pack the little outdoorsman adapter post around, and like how a trekking pole also clips in to the sparrow. Super light. My go to now.

I’ve had surgery on L5/S1. I tested every main pack (SG Evo, SG Crux, EXO K3, K4, Kifaru Duplex Lite, Kifaru ARK, MR Beartooth, and KUIU Pro). For my post surgery back the K3, K4, and new ARK have been by far the best comfort wise. My injury is a ways from yours but all the companies were great...
