I’m in Missoula, MT. We purchased our home in 2016 for about 230k. We’ve done some light remodeling and bet we could sell it for inbetween 460-495 today. There’s no way in hell I’d pay that for our home today but someone probably would

Montana- don’t really mind it. Think it’s better than a preference point system where there’s major point creep happening
But then again I’ve been putting in for a deer unit with decent draw odds and still sitting on 11 points now and just can’t believe i haven’t gotten the tag
Couple years...
I did it for awhile and thought it helped my migraines but my insurance didn’t cover it. Was very expensive for me to keep going consistently. Found massage therapy and chiropractic work more beneficial for the cost

No, if you have any variables change it will be off. Your load, weather, elevation can all make your point of impact change. Maybe if your shots are under 500 yards but then you can just calculate the hold in the reticle yourself. I wouldn’t feel comfortable taking shots at an animal doing it...
I am fortunate to live in Montana so the home field advantage is real for me. However i watch my friends from Michigan come out every year and they struggle and we all hunt the same area. They definitely don’t have the eye for glassing big terrain and have a tough time thinking like an elk since...
Starting hunting at 16 got my first elk at 19
Had a 5 year gap before i shot my next bull. then was able to harvest 4 in a row until last year. Had a baby and only got out for maybe 14 days total compared to 60+ days in the field. I’m excited for this season coming up

I make it a point to back everything up to Google drive but will also print some photos out for an album. Mainly hunting photos and baby pictures are the only ones I’m printing at this time.
I worried for awhile that I’d upload photos to the cloud and never go back and look at them. But i try...
Good hunting partners is just like dating. The chemistry has to match or it doesn’t work out. Haven’t had anything bad happen but the one thing that gets me is people who always have a negative outlook. Something about it just puts an edge on the whole day

It’s very competitive too! But if i remember right KSU got rid of their program a few years ago. NCEA is women’s only and ISHA is men and women’s

Yes my son is 6 months old and i weaned my way into sleep training and he sleeps at night like a champ. I struggled with the naps for the longest time. Lot of people talk about the “Taking Cara Babies” course or Moms on call as being a good investment but they are kind of expensive to buy into...
Update- got the mount cleaned up and back on the wall last night. Hes looking really good with his permanent spray tan [emoji28]the residue on the fur wiped right off with some diluted spray cleaner and tlc. Was hard to tell on the horns sometimes if it was residue coming off or the color of his...
Probably will be vetting buyers too. I’ve gotten lucky that the few things I’ve needed to sell recently have been local and i haven’t had to ship anything

Update on the mount. Taxidermist suggested a lot of the same information. Clean it with a extremely diluted cleaning solvent and start making swipes with the grain of the fur. And said bring it back in the spring so he can work on restoring some finer details that may be lost. He also said be on...
So a couple purple mentioned insurance and a restoration company, since the structure is extremely sound and not compromised. We are just going to make the repairs necessary and move on. The shop is gutted of all the items and will be replacing all new insulation on the roof. For the walls/beams...
