Sorry,
I should’ve been more clear. It looks like the hawkins hunter LA Dbm is in stock places. Three problems:
Only accepts hunter long action mags. This isn’t ideal, but can tolerate it if…
Second problem, their spacer kits for LA mags are sold out everywhere.
Third problem I have to...
I currently have no bottom metal - the one I picked up is for magnums - didn’t realize there were two options for the long action DBM.
So back to the drawing board.
I’ve got a Grayboe Phoenix inletted for m5 Dbm. I’ve got a Remington 700 Long action. I need to get bottom metal, for detachable...
280-300FPS, 500gr+ TAW
This is the sweet spot for me. Usually requires some poundage or some draw length to achieve. I'm 80/30.5. But no part of any whitetail has prevented any arrow set up with the above specs, from making two holes.
Only downside, I break arrows more frequently. It's a...
I don't know. I'm ignorant on this topic.
I was looking at the Hawkins Hunter Mags and their spacer kit, but it is sold out everywhere. That seemed to be an easy button. Not sure what to go for next.

I’ll probably run it all again once the temps swing opposite direction next summer. I’ll be loading at 70 in the house and temps 80-95. I’m sure I’ll need to back off a little. Maybe not.
I’m new to reloading, so...
Taking my first rifle for a facelift - Remington 700ADL 30-06. It basically has been shot 5 times a year to check zero, and never leaves the house. Scored a great deal on remage barrel and black hills gold ammo, so away we go.
Picked up a Grayboe Phoenix and their M5 DBM.
What’s best options...
Not my picture, but the CMT I posted is on the right. The one you linked - is it lighter than the CMT? I didn’t see a weight posted.
Seems like the cost of having someone mill it if you can’t puts it at the CMT cost.
Someone may have posted this already.
7.7oz for right side charging upper receiver. Option for rear.

For reference the BCA weighs 10oz.
I suspect you could build a side charging upper that weighs same as solo, for around...
