I shot a 25rd group over a Garmin Xero chrono for my data. I have 250rds down the barrel. Hodgdon data says 41.1gr of H4350 should get 3015fps in a 24" barrel with Win brass. I figured Lapua has a bit less capacity? I also figured a 7" shorter barrel should lose about 175fps. So maybe it is... -

2024 Cold Bore Challenge
Set my MER at 700 because I wanted more chances to win stuff. Day one, wind was 12-24mph from 10:30ish, 630yds. Resting on pack and using bino/harness for rear support. You should test this again, I'm curious. I had a Tikka superlite. 270 that shot 10rd groups at 1.5-2" with whatever I reloaded. I decided to try some Barnes bullets that had shot okay previously and it shot a 6-8" group. I thought my scope had come loose or something else happened. After some... -

Yes, landowners could sell access to folks who bought/drew a tag. The difference is the tag wasn't sold by a private party to the highest bidder.- Jimbee
