Interested to see how it turns out. I have some buddies that swear by the ruger Americans. I've never owned one but have been tempted for cartridges like these.
In that comparison the 36m is going to be more compatible with centerfire rifle pressures. The pistol cans will be limited and the severity will be based on what can you pick.
My advice: I know getting a versatile can is appealing. But don't spend over 1k on a can that won't be great at...
Little bit of blue locktite and I'm good to go. The Residual seems to stay in there and creates no issues swapping them out by hand.
By all means, go QD if you want but it's just one more variable in the accuracy game due to tolerance stacking. Cans coming loose is extremely overblown IMO...
Am I the only one who's noticed this? The two keep taking shots at each other every week. I think it's hilarious and I wish that they would get together on a podcast and sort it out.
It started a month or so ago. I know that he was brought up on the S2H podcast in terms of "authority" on game...
I cut my venison pretty heavy with pork butts. I go 50/50 most times. I tried that for some snack sticks and had some extra ground left over. When we cooked it up I was very surprised at how well it held together and enjoyed the consistency.
I'll typically quarter my deer, dry age them in a...
My 308 loves 168gr Berger Classic Hunters and 150gr TTSXs. I prefer the absolute devastation that the Bergers leave on a deer. It shoots both equally as well with Varget. Give them a shot.

Just to throw it out there because I went through the same thing... I put the salmon river arca/pic rails on my rifles and it's the best of both worlds.
The R9 would work i imagine. It's the most versatile can I have. Technically a PCC can but I also shoot 308 and 30-06 through it.
My dead air mojave advertises 350 legend. It's a bit longer but super light weight. Cool 3d printed titanium baffles too but i got it as a pistol can for my Wilson...
If some is good, more is better. Why not go 22 creed? Your barrel life is such that practicing with your hunting rounds is feasible IMO. The only arc that interests me is the 6 but in all honesty, only in a gas gun.
I ordered the SG Sentinel with the extra accessory pouch. Wore it this weekend and I really like it. It took a bit of fiddling to get the fit correct on me but now that it is, it's extremely comfortable.
