I’m with you on auto locks, I despise them. The ones exo sells for k4 are my favorite, but I still only have one on my pack, and that’s the top strap I use for my tripod… the stock kifaru auto locks are unnecessary and cumbersome to use
Looks good!
I personally like gatekeepers, and there is a fairly easy technique using them with cold, slow hands… not that big of a deal, if you are relying on finger strength to use them, I assume they would be tough to use
I would like to see kifaru address the little quirks so people don’t...
I don’t think reliability is a big factor with bows, they are pretty tough weapons
I don’t really consider it upgrading either, because bow specs haven’t changed much in the past 15 years, it’s more of wanting something different to me, and it will seem like an upgrade because your mind wants...
When you are ready, get something you like, and is reliable
I have had several boats that just sat, because I liked the idea of them, but they weren’t a valuable tool for what I like to do
I use the heck out of my little sled, it’s the perfect boat for what I do, it has reliable power, AND a...
I don’t own anything from UV, And likely never will, but I am impressed with their business sense
They have pretty much brought a very overpriced version of every archery product to the market, made it attractive in some way, and sell the heck out of them… seems far fetched, but they are doing...
Sounds like an older sled with newer power is what you want unless money isn’t an option. Flat bottoms get blown around more while trolling (especially if you have a top on)
It depends on how skinny of water you want to run, unless you run a lot of skinny water, a flat bottom is a compromise...
They have a size finder now, I used that and got a good fit. The reviews on size is why I didn’t buy any pants last year, but I liked the stealth wool jacket enough that I wanted the pants as well
There is a pecking order in my mind, if there is logging traffic/loggers, they are working, I will always try to not impede them in any way
Also have a CB and monitor the channel for the road you’re on
Nice!!
How were the wound channels? Get exits?
I have used them quite a bit in the 6.5 creed and 308 and had not seen any red flags. I think the furthest was 315yds
The only scenario that they didn’t cause a lot of damage was on a big bear at 300-ish, it slipped ribs on the entrance and made...
The walla walla tag probably takes some of the sting away from filling your tag early 😏
Today has potential, it’s raining pretty hard currently and is supposed to back off for a few hours
The part that bugs me the most is just not knowing what he was exactly, I don’t know if it was just a nice...
I think I messed up this morning
Soaking mist and fog (same exact situation that I messed up on last year) and I had a buck 110yds below me that was at least a really nice buck, but I think it was a magnum
I walked into the spot I wanted to hunt and it was fogged in and misty and I got on...
This is worth restating, I have a bag with it, and I have experienced the same thing. It has lost a lot of loft, and I have never stored it compressed
Still a very useful bag to me, but for warmer hunts now. When it was new I used it down to the low 20’s and it was excellent, couple years...
I have to use their great customer service after late season 😂
I got a custom through s&s and then got a lift and had to put a dovetail on it to go on the lift so I could use their way overpriced accessories and long story short, I ended up turning my micro adjust sight into a non micro adjust...
Ideally have her shoot a few, find a bow shop with helpful techs that don’t think they are the smartest bow tech alive. A cocky know it all bow tech will not make it a good experience
My daughter has a prima and my wife has a nexus 2, both are excellent bows for ladies, but I like the prima more
Are they looking for volunteers? I would happily make it a goal to inflict the whole list on every single attendee.
Give me the tools, and I’ll take care of the rest, looks like a great way to unwind
Until recently, I really wanted a 257wby as my “1 rifle” and then became a little more practical and decided the 25-06 was the one. I think quarter bores are awesome, always have
Now I will likely never own one, but I still like them and hope they don’t go the way of the dinosaur
If they keep...
Buck sign is just starting to pick up locally, hoping this week of weather turns on some buck movement
Yesterday on my way to work a little after 5 I saw a stud in town crossing the hwy walking fast with his mouth open, but I have noticed that town bucks aren’t a great representation of what...
