Still holding up with no issues. I have yet to get cold in it, I've been in weather down in single digits but nothing below zero yet.

    30 Nosler +P

I second Ryan’s answer, I was recently hunting with him and had issues with my gun. I ended up using his 30 nosler and was able to spot the shot on my deer at 400. I picked up one of his breaks on the way home to put on my 300wsm. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Outdoor Vitals Atlas Hybrid 0° Sleeping Bag Review, By Casey Streepy

I’m still impressed with this bag. I’ve used it on several more trips and I plan on taking it on all 3 of my late season hunts this year. I’m not a fan of the center zip but that’s my only complaint. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Outdoor Vitals Atlas Hybrid 0° Sleeping Bag Review, By Casey Streepy

I went with synthetic because of the season dates and the possibility of bad weather that the area is known for. Down is nice at times but to me it isn't worth the risk in bad weather. If down gets wet in those conditions your options are hypothermia or hiking out.

Outdoor Vitals Atlas Hybrid 0° Sleeping Bag Review, By Casey Streepy

I live in WA and we get a lot of moisture. Synthetic will save your life in very wet conditions, in my opinion its worth the extra weight and size. If you are worried about weight and room in your pack go with down.

Outdoor Vitals Atlas Hybrid 0° Sleeping Bag Review, By Casey Streepy

I had been using a EE quilt for several years. If the OV quilts are on par with this sleeping bag I don't see how you could go wrong.

    Co unit 48

Bringing back this old thread, how did your hunt go? I'm looking at burning my points on the same tag this year.
  20. casey58

    YOUR success rate on elk.

4 years, I avoided it forever because WA is a Zoo. 2 bulls taken 0-2 archery (had 3 shots...) 2-2 rifle public land OTC 7 My group went 2-2 last year and 4-4 this year, all rifle hunts.
