    Garmin Xero C1: new chronograph

How do you like the functionality of the Garmin app? Is the Bluetooth connection reliable? Is the app intuitive and simple to navigate? Can you download the data from the device onto a PC? Appreciate the feedback.

    Garmin Xero C1 Pro Chronograph

Is it possible to alternate between rifles/strings without creating a new series? I like to bring multiple rifles to the range and alternate them after 3-5 shots to let the barrels cool. It would be nice to return to the previous rifle's velocity data and add more shots to that series.

    Conejos Canyon Outfitters

That is a great outfit. We did a drop camp with them in 2020. Bart worked hard to take care of all his clients. I would definitely go back, and probably will in the near future. Good luck on your hunt. Let us know how if goes.

    Kodiak 12 x 16 tent

We used the 12x12 with the 8x8 awning for Archery Elk this year. It was great. 4 cots in the 12x12 (no center pole) with gear in the 8x8. Everyone was comfortable and had plenty of room. Used a Big Buddy heater when needed (high 20s in the mornings). I thought it was gonna be tight with 4...

    Help a new .300WSM reloader!

The Barnes data for H4350 and 180 gr bullets produced great results in my Tikka 300 WSM. I ended up near book max at .050" off the lands.

    4 Vane vs. 3 Vane

I agree with the comment above. I shot 3 and 4 fletch on the same arrow, side by side for 2 weeks last summer. In my experience, 3 and 4 fletch were very similar until shooting BHs. 4 fletch resulted in consistently tighter groups with a 3 blade fixed head (VPA 125 Solids). 4 fletch with BH...

    Budget tripod head for spotter?

Not sure what your budget is, but the Sirui VA-5 is hard to beat for quality at that price ($150-ish).

Looking for a compact 30 cal suppressor

AB Raptor is worth a look. The reflex portion of the can will add volume without extra length. They have various sizes to choose from... pick the one that fits your needs. I have a 6 Stack Raptor with a 5" Reflex on my 300 WSM and I have been very happy with it.

    MTNTough Fitness

I am working through the pre-season program right now. It's been tough, but I really like it. I will be in significantly better shape compared to last year.

What's your go to water bottle

Nalgene. I use 32 oz and 16 oz wide mouth bottles. Simple, durable, affordable.

Looking for a gun safe for my hunting rifle!

Go bigger than you think. The capacity listed can be very deceiving.

What is your on mountain supplement stack?

Interesting. I need to read up on that. Might be a real benefit if you have good access to water. I have read recommendations to increase water intake while on creatine to avoid headaches, muscle cramps and kidney problems. None of that sounds fun if I'm in the backcountry at altitude. That...

Am I stupid not to take a spotting scope on an early season high country buck hunt?

Definitely take a spotter. Borrow or rent one, if possible.
