Hawkins Long Range Hybrids worked well on my T3x. I had to bring the scope back as far as possible to get the right eye relief. But it worked.
Stock was a Mesa Precision Altitude with a 13.5" LOP.
Some good info in this thread on the 6 CM and 108 ELD-M at various barrel lengths. Might help with your decision. I went with 20".

"Green Goo". I used this during Archery Elk and 2nd Rifle in Colorado this year. A buddy recommended it. Worked great. Hands always cracked during & after these trips in the past. No issues this year.
The tin container is small (1.8 oz.). A little goes a long way. I think it is an...
Mine started off a little rough, but not to the degree you are describing. It has gotten better/smoother over time. I have also learned how to work with the tension to get it set where I like it. Took some time and patience, but I can move it smoothly with the bridge of my nose when panning now...
Thank you. I really like them so far. A little longer/larger than the standard Tikka bolt handle, but not in the oversized/tactical category. Feels good in the hand at any angle. Should slide into a scabbard without any issues. It's threaded if you want to try other knobs with the same...

Updated the 300 WSM (tan) with a different stock and scope. I like it so much, I built another one in 6mm Creedmoor as a trainer/smaller caliber option.

Those 2 items with a versatile pant are great. I just add or remove layers as needed. The full zip feature is the key...
I had the same questions running through my mind during my most recent Tikka project. I talked with a local shop that does all types of treatments/platings/coatings for the offshore oil and gas industry. They have had enough inquiries from hunters & competitive shooters over the years that...
