Couldn’t leave well enough alone and started load development with the 109s, alpha brass, H4350, and 210M primers and OAL is 2.8”. Exceeded my expectations for sure. I loaded up to 42 grains but could have gone farther. No bolt lift and the brass and primers look good. I may push it further next...
It’s a year old, has one season on it. Scratch and ding free but some of the hardware shows some rust. Has a SRS Spartan pic rail up front and their small arca rail as well. The channel is for a carbon six bull barrel profile. Asking $750 shipped
Only shot it a half dozen times without it so I can’t really say and I have medium UM tikka rings.

Just the action and yes inside and out. The screws are just the standard ones that come with it. I’m sure you could buy some stainless ones from mountain tactical and unknown would nitride those as well.
I know. Just shooting factory 108 eldms I’m approaching 2700fps. That’s plenty for how far I’m capable but I can’t help myself. I want to see what these 109s can do
FWIW I had the same idea last year and called unknown and talked to Blaine. He recommended against it. So I’m sticking to my 16” 6 creed and will be loading up some 109s this weekend.
A 6 creed shooting 108 eldms should work just fine and is legal in all the western states (at least I think it is) I permanently switched over to a 223 (where legal) after seeing what the 77 TMK did to two elk last year at 400 and 500 yards.
unfortunately they didn’t have the molds with the texture built in for those ones, which sucks because the texture on the one I just got is awesome. They added it to mine after the fact and I should have that in hand to compare next week.
