First Lite Corrugate vs Sitka Grinder/MTN pant

That’s for the information. That’s exactly my thought and purpose for them. Still curious to hear input on the First lite pants. They are $50 cheaper.

First Lite Corrugate vs Sitka Grinder/MTN pant

So I’m looking to fill a hole between my Sitka ascent pants (early season) and Sitka timberlines (late season). My use fo these pants will cover a huge array of hunting applications. First off I want them in a solid Tan-ish color. I’ll be using these pants mostly to wear waterfowl hunting in a...

Who has the new 2019 Sitka Kelvin Hoody?

Ok good to know. I already have a first lite cirrus jacket which is similar to the KLH. I might get the KH if I can get one on camofire cheap. I’ll be using it as insulation when glassing and it would come off as soon as I start moving.

Who has the new 2019 Sitka Kelvin Hoody?

So Sitka discontinued the kelvin hoody “KH” (133g insulation) but kept the kelvin lite hoody “KLH” (80g insulation) and kept the kelvin ws down hoody “KDH” (250g) because the KH was made from such a different material from the other two? I’m confused.

Sitka's Cloudburst or Stormfront rain gear?

If you had to get a jacket for a western hunt in Wyoming in November would you get the jetstream or cloudburst. Could see either rain or snow. The jetstream appears to be very water resistant with a dwr coating, and a little warmer versus the cloudburst. I would imagine I would wear the...

Late Season Clothing System Questions (AZ & WY in Nov-Dec)

Late Season Clothing System Questions (AZ & WY in Nov-Dec)

Looking to start compiling a clothing system for next year. Figure I can start now and slowly piece it together and look for used pieces or find some summer sales. What I am going to be doing is pursuing elk in Wyoming (mid to late November) as well as possibly elk in Arizona around the same...

    Hoyt RX4, my thoughts >>———->

You said the draw weight is at 74#. Is that with the 70# limbs or the 80# limbs on a #2 cam. I’ve always shot Mathews myself but feel like switching to Hoyt. Not a big fan of what Mathews has done with the grips and I always find myself replacing them. Held a rx3 and helix and liked how they...

New Exo 4800 VS New Mystery Ranch Beartooth 80

The one thing that I really like about the 4800 and the beartooth 80 is the 270 front zipper. Can’t tell you how many times that would have made I much easier to access somethin in my tent without saving to blindly dig

    WY Elk Cow tags

thank you. I can really only afford 1 elk hunt this year but have a friend willing to help me out in Wyoming if I wanted to come punch a cow tag. I wanted to make this my fall back option, but with Wyoming being one of the first deadlines to come up I didn't want to draw 2 tags in different...

    WY Elk Cow tags

I preface this by saying I have not fully done the research, I am asking a blind question. Looking at some of the draw numbers for a type 6 cow elk tag in Wyoming in some units it appears that through the draw not all the tags get drawn. Do these left over tags become available for purchase at...
