Crocs are awesome. I don't wear them all day everyday though. I have a pair as house shoes and another pair for going outside or quick trips to the store when I don't feel like putting on shoes. One rule I follow though is never using the heel strap unless I ever need extra traction, or have...
I definitely have not done my research on Amsoil fully. The whole taking oil samples and sending them in seems to be more for specialized purposes, which I don't think I have. As long as I do regular oil changes, I feel like I should be ok. Been doing regular oil changes on our GMC Acadia...
Hey everyone. I've attached an interesting read here, hopefully you can view it. I have a 15 Duramax GMC. I've never really noticed anything that will significantly increase fuel mileage or fuel economy, so what I am most interested in is lessening the wear on the engine and internal...
Great! I just got mine in this week so haven't had the opportunity to fire it up and sign up and all that good stuff. I'll test it out to make sure the battery life is the same as yours and if so, I'll likely do the same as you, maybe keep a smaller power bank at camp just for the inreach. I...
Looking at 5 days hunting maybe 1 or 2 scouting days or days to acclimate to the altitude haha. But yes I agree I will definitely test all this out at home prior to the hunt. For now I am leaning towards just the battery bank option, and depending on the home test, that will determine if I get...
I've been trying to research this topic lately. I'm torn between having a 20k mAh battery and two 10k mAh batteries. My plan is to have my phone on all day minus sleeping, in order to use OnX or GoHunt app. And will probably only be using inreach mini to send checking messages in the morning...
Best Scotch I've had so far is the Macallan Rare Cask, but haven't been able to justify paying $300 for a bottle yet.
If you're looking for a genuinely good Scotch but budget friendly, go with Spey River finished in Rum casks, bout $30 sum for a bottle.
I've only used walmart batteries for my UTV's and lawn mowers and they all have sucked. Use Optima for our SUV and Interstate on my Diesel truck and never had any issues.
For your Everstart truck battery, only time will tell. If it fails, buy an interstate.
Good to know. I don't currently own Outdoorsmans but they do seem like well built packs. I do have a cabelas instinct fast tracker 63L that I may use for training purposes instead of putting wear and tear on my mystery ranch. I may load up the mystery ranch when I'm doing actual hikes with...
I don't have experience with First Lite wool products, I have felt some smart wool and it is similar, I think the Kuiu feels a bit smoother. It is soft like a a cotton poly blend, but the way the fabric is constructed, it doesn't have that almost fuzzy feel of some wools, it is very smooth on...
I couldn't find much info when initially ordering these so I wanted to post my experience here.
I had been researching which base layer bottoms to get and for me, the biggest determining factor was being able to have full length zip-offs to easily remove or put on as the temperature...
Makes sense. I hope I'm on the right track here, forgive me if I'm not, still trying to figure all this out. So far I'm thinking the biggest benefit to doing hikes with your actual packing list is to figure out where in the pack items need to be placed to make the pack carry comfortably...
I've wondered about this too as I am just doing my first Western hunt this year and have started training. My worry is mainly towards my down items such as puffy clothes and sleeping bag. I don't want to constantly have them compressed for an extended period of time and risk damage to the down...
Any of ya'll doing any hunts this year? I'm in Kingwood. Been up to the Sam Houston National Forest to hike a couple times this year with my gear in preparation. Would be nice to do a group hike if possible, or even just talk hunting.
I just got some as well. So far I haven't seen any issues, only had a chance to wear them around the house a bit. Their customer service reps seem to be helpful so they should take care of you. Question on the fit. Do yours feel snug? I have only ever worn a regular width, but after having...
