I tried on this one with no luck. The lugs on this are V shaped so I couldn't really figure out any way to get adjustment.
Were they also V shaped on the Gen 1?
Schmidt Bender 3-12×42 P3L illuminated reticle. Capped elevation turret. Looks like this is now a discontinued model.
I bought new in 2020 or so. It's been mounted on a .243 with lapped Talley rings since. A few handling marks, but very good condition for being hunted with. I assume no ring...
That's great to hear! I just need to get it out to 500. The build and glass quality for the price are fantastic.
If I'm happy with how mine dials I'll probably get a custom cap from Kenton Industries.
I went out with the scope last night at the end of shooting light. I couldn't see the Z-Plus reticle at all on any darker background. I'm returning it for the duplex and will check to see if the scope tracks enough to dial for elevation.
Do any of you with the Z-Plus reticle have any input at how it does in low light situations? I just ordered one, and it's incredibly thin compared to the rest of my scopes. I'm thinking I'll probably return it.
I was able to handle one today in .223.
I was impressed with everything about it other than the magazine. It did not attach securely at all, and was very loose and rattled around.
Is this the case with the larger calibers that have the shorter magazine as well?
