First off, I agree with everyone else. Why not name the outfitter and owner??? Then when someone goes to do the research that you expect them to, it will show up in a search. I don’t understand why you would want to make things harder for the next person.

I would hunt with Sangre De Cristo outfitters out of their Mountain Meadows camp. You will easily see multiple bulls in that class.
My second option would be with Whitaker Brothers outfitters, they also have some top notch hunts. The benefit to both of these outfits is that they have tags, so...
Restarting this thread. I’m curious how the OP’s hunt went. I read the other posts on bowsite and am looking to try for S34. Just looking for more info. I have this bad habit of convincing myself that I have a shot every year.
I was told that Dan Reynolds was THE place to sheep hunt when I first decided to pursue this crazy goal and it has been the top of my list since. But like you said, it’s tough to get in.
Wow nice ram!! I’m glad to hear that you had a good experience. I wasn’t aware of the history, that definitely adds to it. I’ve enjoyed all of my conversations with Mervyn’s this far, I’m just doing my due diligence because there isn’t as much info out there about them.
I would love a Fannin, but not a deal breaker. Sorry, it’s not that I am excluding NWT, it’s just the outfitters that I’m considering are all Yukon based. I’m open to NWT outfits as well.

I am at the point that I am ready to book. The two outfits that I originally planned to go with haven’t worked out like I had planned due to COVID and the struggle the Alaska guys are experiencing.
