A pair of Oakley’s deer hunting. I was running down a fence line to try and cut off some deer, never got a shot, and lost my sunglasses to boot.
One year a friend lost a watch after taking it off to clean a deer. I found it three months later pheasant hunting.
I’m pleasantly surprised at the price. It’s cheaper than final rise or Pyke. It’s still expensive enough that I’ll wait until there are some reviews but I’m intrigued.
I got a pair for Christmas. I’ve worn them once on a hunt so far and like them. I went through some pretty thick stuff wearing them without any issues.
I plan on my yearly return to South Dakota for opening weekend. I really want to go to the Nebraska Sandhills again for sharptails/prairie chickens.
Gear wise I have my eyes on a super black eagle twenty gauge. Otherwise I might upgrade my vest. I was looking at Final Rise or Pyke, but then...
Fancy: beef tenderloin. I’ll never cook one another way. Beef ribs are also a crowd pleaser.
Regular dinner: pork tenderloins, salmon, chicken, chuck roast.

I have the Kuiu Guide DCS jacket that I’ve worn on a variety of hunts, from spring turkey to fall pheasant to rifle deer hunting. I pair it with a puffy jacket when it’s cold. I don’t bow hunt so I’m not sure if it’s that quiet, but it’s quiet enough for what I do.
I snapped this with my cell phone, so hopefully the details come through. We were fishing in Canada and a mother bear and her four(!) cubs decided to gate crash shore lunch.
Greetings; I'm a new guy from Nebraska. I'm originally from South Dakota and grew up pheasant and deer hunting. I look forward to interacting with everyone and learning more, especially as I'm looking at trips further west. Cheers!
