Agreed. I was out hunting for a week and the service nailed it. I took my zoleo as a back up and didn't even need to turn it on. Messages were sent and received very fast once connected. 1 time it told me it was 7 minutes till the next satellite was available but I just moved to a clearer view...
I would shoot a different round a see if you have the same problem. Weatherby may help but needs to be determined if its the gun or the ammo that's giving you the trouble. Or at least that's what I would do.
I follow a few forums/FB groups and can't remember which one but I swear I had read a similar post about 280ai 155gn federal terminal accent blowing primers. This would of been in the last 2 weeks or so. I would say ammo issue before a gun issue
Own a Winchester SXP in both 20g and 12g. Nothing but good things to say about them, had zero issues. Also own a SX3 from Winchester that has never had an issue. A few others have bought them off my recommendation and have had zero issues as well. Cycle all types of ammo. "Fastest pump" out...
Use their sizing chart on the website. Measure where they show you to measure.. Kuiu is athletic cut. Height and size sound about right for large though.
Also, Kuiu labour day sale starts tomorrow. May find what your looking for on sale. The kutana pants will be on sale. Best kuiu pants I own...
ADG is testing the waters and hopefully it will push the others to follow suit. I have a pre order in for ADG and hope to get 100pcs. This should last 500+ rounds. Hornady will never get on board, Nosler chances are slim, not sure about Norma or starline. Peterson said not at this time, don't...
Don't see them go on sale a ton. When I bought mine, I bought it from Ross outdoors. Their 10% off first order online coupon worked at the time. Plus I don't think I had to pay tax on top of that. Best deal I had found at the time
Go over book until you find pressure or at least that's what I would do. What book you using?
With the 6.8w data on the Hodgdon website, it said book for 4831sc was 55.8gns but it was like 300fps less than what it stated. I chased that speed and got up to 61gns with no real pressure signs...
haha yes you are, but that's ok, they deserve it. It used to be the wild wild west when it came to ratings from air mattresses. Now that any company that truly want to sell a quality product will use the ASTM rating, these cheaper mattresses are getting called out.
The Klymit that was rated...
I assume this is the case. I think everything happens fast and the moose was likely dying, but just reaction says to shoot it again if its not flopped over.
Depending on distance of the shot, I would assume shot 1,2,or 3 would of killed the moose. Entering at the front shoulder opens up to most...
@Formidilosus can talk to tissue mass at that area as well.
Personally, it sounds like a dead moose standing. Big animals can "eat" some lead but still take time to die. I bet the 6.5prc killed the moose but he was just standing there waiting to die and someone said he hasn't dropped yet, shoot...
No, there designed to penetrate that fragment to create a large wound channel. Some people think a bullet blowing up is a bullet failing but its literally doing what its designed to do. Creates a large wound channel in the progress. A copper will retain wait and push deep but the wound channel...
