These sat overnight and have identically stopped leaking with about an inch and a half of water in them. Leaked pretty fast the first couple hours.
I'm thinking maybe the way they're constructed or wear from ankle flex?
Either way I had wet feet for days in these and eventually a blister on...
Tons of videos out there on how to do it. I've done enough now to forget how many and it's now always bone in quarters. The bones on a wt don't weight enough to make a difference and when you get home you'll have less pieces to pick hair and leaves off of. The less cuts the better in the field.
Find a small local independent agent that represents multiple smaller companies as well as some large ones. We own an agency and the smaller companies are almost always a better value. For the record my wife manages the actual insurance part.
Pic of the top. Zipper often won't close all along its length not just the high wear areas. I can hold it a certain way so it closes. I'm not seeing a way to replace it without sewing.
As the years have gone by I trim less and less and the end product is no worse IMO. We still remove a lot of it but focus on the thicker parts and the fat.
