Heck the contests ends well before season does here. Even before peak rut. I guess technically I could use a pic from Jan 16th or after this year?

I think there’s a typo in the contest rules. @robby denning 4) Must be a photo of a buck YOU harvested fair chase in 2022 (or by January 15th, 2021). I think that should say “after”? For example If a buck was taken on Jan 30th 2021 it would qualify for this 2022 contest?

The issue is that in the great state of Alabama, deer rut at different times throughout the year. We see deer rut on our place in February. The contest doesn’t extend out far enough to cover Arkansas and Alabama Deer seasons.

Extend the contest to middle of February and we’re all good

Actually, it does, per the contest rules anything harvested after January 15 can be entered in the next year’s contest.

It's on a 4 pts on one side rule or better.
Going up a few weeks before to scout.
