    This is caused by the bullet being dragged out of the throat upon extraction of the live round. The ejector plunger is constantly putting pressure on the round to the side and thus presses the bullet against one side of the throat as the extractor drags it out. Nothing to be worried about.

    I attached it like the fhf one does. At the clip next to the side of the bino pouch and used the loop strap to hold it there.

    I modified mine to work. Imo the connection point on the pouch is far too low, and the range finder wants to turn over. The bulk of the rangefinder sits above the button attachment point. It would attach just fine but would not set correctly and constantly got in the way.

    It is likely the extractor popping over the rim of the cartridge. If you manipulate the bolt a little faster and with some force you may not notice it as much. Or the extractor may need some work to pop over the rim easier.
