    I got drawn for my second choice, Unit 77 archery. However, my hunting partner and I weren't on the same page for applying. I may end up sending it in for a refund so and go during 2nd rifle OTC. Not sure what to do go archery alone or go rifle with a friend.

    How much weight on your stabilizers?

    My previous bow was 70lbs and set at 90% let off. This year I went to a 65lb bow and have the let off set at 80%, I am way more consistent with this set up. My favorite bow and one I wish I never sold was 65lbs and 80% as well, that seems to be my sweet spot.

    Fletching choice

    All I use are Q2i vanes, I've never had to prep them. I do use a wrap and Loctite ultra control gel for them. By far they are the easiest vane I have ever used.

    9 days out and hit with shingles.

    Meds have definitely helped me. It started to clear up over the last couple days. The nerve pain has been the worst part for me. Except for one of the meds is making it hard to sleep at night, suspecting the prednisone or gabapentin. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

    It's definitely getting better, the nerve pain in my neck and head is what is the worst for some reason. Rash is clearing up and will hopefully be mostly healed in the next week or so. Not going to keep me down.
