Sold BUL ARMORY 1911 9mm Commander size stainless pistol MINT

I own quite a few of these Bul 1911’s. Love them for the quality, fit, finish, and excellent shooting. Man that’s an awesome deal for a 9mm, even better in the 1911 footprint.

WTS Seeking Havak PH1 6.5 PRC

@umpquah20designs : Since Seekins says the PRC is a SA selection, my PH1 6.5CM bare on the scales hits just under 7 lbs ( 6 lbs 15oz), while my PH2 6.5CM weighs 6lbs 14oz. Dressed with MK5 HD and Seekins rings either are 9lbs 8-12oz.

Buying one more rifle and struggling

Late to the party but...7PRC is on my short list. I got enough 6.5CM variants to tell me it's a solid performer. No need for a 6.5PRC......30-06 works for me it's just not the real winner in distance...don't want to keep going with a .300WM that just gets hurtful.

“Meaningful” differences 6.5 cm be 308?

Unless you want another caliber of ammunition to buy....just stick with what you got. You could buy 6.5CM in 156gn if even 143gn...not sure why you settled to compare 150gn to 127gn.

    AR barrel brand

Plenty of options for you either way, carbon or steel. Proof carbon can be had for cheap on the forums. I've bought plenty cheaper than retail, guess they were table prizes. Proof does make steel barrels as well. https://proofresearch.com/barrels/ar-type/

    Seekins Havak PH2 vs….

Since I bought the R700 used I can't say specifically. I will not argue the Seekins wins in the $$$ spent department. If someone asked me "what should I do?"...I can say spend what you want. Either rifle will do the work. Seekins is almost out the box ready to rock, just add optics. I...

    Seekins Havak PH2 vs….

From a weight perspective it's all about barrel length. A carbon barrel rifle tends to weigh the same as it's "cousin" rifle running a steel fluted barrel of the same length. Then you start getting into the gucci metal variants that may save you some weight. Optics choices can make up the...

    Off-grid trailer as basecamp

Using a 40' pusher is a bit much for me. :p I wasn't sure how many people are actually hunting in this fashion. Not to mention the ability to hunt multiple areas over a longer period of time. Thanks for all the replys so far!

    Suppressors: Rifle Zeroing Issues

Some POI is expected from using a muzzle brake/suppressor attachment only, then installing the suppressor. I'd say 1" POI shift is not that bad at all if it's consistent. 4" POI shift tells me to leave the rifle as you intend to shoot with it. Either leave the suppressor on, or leave it off.

    Off-grid trailer as basecamp

Yes, I meant the concept "off-grid" , not specific to a trailer brand. Just wanted to hear some reality, don't need the sales pitch. LOL I got plenty of that at the Offroad Expo East. Just a short run down of how you do it. Planning, prep, equipment (trailer related)....etc etc. As basic...

Anyone use a "off-grid" trailer as base camp to hunt an area (or close by) that permits camping??
