Muzzle Break to Suppressor

I have a Franchi Momentum Elite 6.5 PRC that came with a removable factory installed muzzle break. If I wanted to replace the break with a suppressor, would be as simple as swapping it out, or would I need to bring to a gunsmith to have it rethreaded. Any advice from someone who has done this before? Can’t seem to find anything on this topic.

The barrel is threaded 5/8-24, so remove the brake and thread on a can. It's that simple. Getting a suppressor is the only challenging part.
