Mine is a torx head. 20 or maybe 25?
Is that something that would really require hiking out for? My thought is I’d be shooting without a pad if I was in the backcountry. Or tape it on. But I shoot a 6.5 and not a hard recoiling magnum.
Will there be a preorder? 😂
Definitely interested, but also curious on the value vs a tikka that’s cut/threaded and has a rokstok (say $1600ish). What kind of hunter would benefit from the extra cost vs just staying with a tikka?
I had good luck with 75 ELD-Ms and N140 but I never shot them past 400 so it's hard to say definitively that they are that great. When I run out of TMKs and my new mags get here I'll go back to them though.
Didn’t there used to be an episode about the drop evals? Was called “drop it like it’s hot” or something? Was looking to send it to a friend who had a leupold fail but can’t find it.
How’s it work if you buy something that is back ordered form SS?
I’m assuming you need to wait til it’s in stock and a serial # is known before any of the approvals can start?
Sent them a message on facebook and a day later got a response that warranty requests can take up to 2 weeks to process. I let them know it'd been a month and they responded they'd try to bump it along.
Got an e-mail a few hours later with leak detection and repair instructions which wasn't...
TTT.
Would like to do trades or sale in volume if possible. I found more 147 ELD-M so inclined to keep those and just sell or trade the bergers for now.
THanks
I had good luck a few years ago with a 15 year old pad through the online warranty portal. $30 ish to fix and ship back to me which was fine as the pad was old, I had no proof of purchase, etc.
This one leaked from the get go though. I'll try the e-mail Bbob posted and see if that works.
I've tried the warranty form online (over a month ago), sent an e-mail to the customer service address I could find, and I called the phone # I could find for cascade designs with no response or answer to any of those.
Backstory is I've had a sleeping pad that's been leaking since I got it new...
Heard good things about the black hunters but haven’t used them.
You could also get a white feather lark and some trad tech limbs. Both are very popular and solid options.
Personally I think the grip is a huge factor In shootability for a bow though. A cheap ILF rig that lets you swap grips...
How much have you used these and how reliable are they? Can’t be worse than my Mountain tactical mag (speaking of it’s been another 6 months ish… time to call again 🤦♂️)
