I'm sure it's hard to say specifically but on those rifle hunts how many bulls do you need to look over before finding a target bull ?? Are you sitting on post rutt hidy holes ??
It seems like I need to see about 50 bulls before seeing somthing with size.
They like to roost at night
They like the morning sun
They have scout nannys posted up at all times
They do like water
They do like the feed just under the cliffs
They love caves mid day
Good luck ! Such a great hunt with a bow...it's a shame what happened to them
Just for clarification nobody is saying stop doing the inexpensive trips or day hunts or diy public land Hunts "out west"
find a compromise that works for you and live a good life !
Another really fun chart to build is do 200 a week for the 1st year, then do 300 a week for the next 4 years, then do a 30k hunt every 3 years for the rest of your life
Roughly with 300 a week it's basically a race to get to 90-100k and then your home free
300 week is hard to carve out but if...
These threads with guys chasing there dreams is awesome, pretty cool to see guys with some guts go out and do it
But incase your not digging the risks there is another way..while finances are a touchie subject, I think if anyone is considering these hunts it's kinda par for the course.

Where did you book ?? Shot distances from 5 yards to 70.. I used to love setting up for sub 10 yard shots. You can really use that thick cover to your advantage but sub 30 yards it's only a matter of time before they know somthing is up so make your moves ! Don't be afraid to walk around even...
Ehh I think it's just a specific use case, like I work alot on steel decks....kentreks are terrible on steel... but that doesn't make them a bad boot.. when the rock has grit kentreks are a great boot...if the rock is crazy smooth and wet like down in creak bottoms...be careful
Everything is a...
It's a hard rubber...if it was softer it would wear out faster
The softer rubber grips better...crispis have a softer rubber and grip better on slipper surfaces but wear out much faster
There's a never ending list of things to do with in a few hours of Seattle, if you make a way point on your onX on the "a" of Seattle, set the radius to about 45 miles..that would be a good minimum distance to get from Seattle..set another radius to about 95-100 miles and then explore any cool...
Idk if it's a tip or not but I would be interested in a work ethic podcast...how hard you really working at scouting and hunting...maybe get like randy Ulmer or Jason Carter
It just seems like a pendulum anymore...one moment guys are saying tech is killing all the bucks...next moment we are saving too many bucks..doesnt exactly make any sense..this will never end as guys will never take responsibility for there lack of success... you don't kill bucks because...
I'm sure there will be times the btx outshines the twins but I think on the average the twins will be more efficient in both finding game and identification and not wasting time
I wonder why adams adapters doesn't make an adjustable bridge instead of a fixed one...
