Look, the internet rarely admits the bad. One deer season, I intentionally killed a doe through the shoulder. The next 4 animals I didn’t recover. Thankfully 2 of them the arrow bounced off. Won’t take that shot again. For every antidotal killed shoulder shot, there’s 10 lost animals. Great... -
Too short trim length won’t eject?
No I tested it a few times. Def below 2.000 the shell won’t return with the bolt. Falls out when vertical. 2.000>2.025ish smooth operation. >2.035 very difficult -

Man….just don’t do it. Nobody asks “hey ever lose a heart shot bull?” Keep your odds high. We’re hunting for fun, not sustenence. -
Too short trim length won’t eject?
Trimmed 308 below the min, and they won’t eject. Does that make sense? The brass is actually 7.62, everything else 308. Thanks -

Went downhill for a while after COVID, this year seemed better. Always enjoy flirting with the fur ladies, drinking beer, and shooting 3D (in that order). Always go home with less arrows somehow….- Mikido

Fixed power alternatives
I run the swfa 10x on 2 separate rifles, and they’ve been great (much like the drop test shows). With the 6x almost impossible to find, any reliable alternatives? 4x, 6x, 8x considered. Thanks- Mikido
