This year will be my third trip for moose. Thing that surprised me mostly was how many days you can go without changing clothes. At most, all you need is one change of clothes, Except socks, 4 pair for 10 days.
When I was young, maybe 7 or 8, I found a tv show called American Sportsman or something like that. I watched these guys hunt bear in Alaska, and after seeing that show I was hooked. My dad was a doctor and didn't hunt, so I would take off into the Arizona mountains with a cheep bow every chance...
I think that if everyone boycotts AZ, maybe they will fix their website. I will continue to apply and hunt here and let everyone know when it is safe to start putting in again.
I did a search on the guy we fly with and found he had walked away from a crash, I didn't think he would want to do that again, so I felt he would be careful.
I am responding to your post on moose hunting.
There are outfitters that you can simply book a hunt with, but if this hunt is just you and your son-in-law, you may want to consider a guided hunt due to the amount of work it takes once you have a moose down.
If you want to talk about this...
What is the current zoning of the property? Is your property zoned residential? Like flyingsquirel said look at the General Plan for the City/County you are in, it is the best way to fight rezoning.
If you want a job in law enforcement in the center of the best elk hunting in Arizona, I have some information for you. Small town conservative values, good school and heath care. Springerville, AZ.
