    I think you’re missing the entirety of the problem. Corn has and should not have anything to do with gasoline. It does nothing for the environment. Inhibiting domestic oil production is the obvious problem. It sounds like you’ve completely drank the koolaid on this.

    Just from experience, you might want to consider Mylar bags and oxygen absorbers for the beans, rice, flour etc. The eggs in those that are there naturally will hatch eventually and ruin the food.
