I have a well used jetboil. as typical for them the igniter sparks sometimes but doesn’t light the burner. Otherwise it works perfect. Some Stains on the neoprene wrap and a slight rust stain in the bottom of the cup. 60$ tyd

So igniter doesnt work at all? or works but sometimes want to light?

It sparks sometimes but doesn’t light the stove. From my understanding is a very common problem but can be tinkered with and possibly fixed i never bothered because I just use a bic and it works great. I recently got a new lighter stove option so I’m going with it and don’t need so many stoves.

If it sparks it’s an easy fix

Adjust the angle and length of the spark by bending the tip(spark) away from burner. Slightly. Fixes it in most cases. Maybe you’ve tried? Fixed a few doing this adjustment.

Thanks that’s what I’ve heard but honestly
I’ve never even bothered with it. I have several bics with me and just used one to ignite it. Another reason it’s for sale cheap
