For the past year or more, when the NRA calls me to donate/renew my membership, I interrupt them and let them know that as long as Wayne is at the helm, I'll not be renewing my membership. Am I wrong for thinking this way?
Life elsewhere in the universe? Yes, absolutely
Are they visiting us and will we ever confirm life elsewhere? No, never going to happen.
For me it comes down to a religious belief. If you believe in the Christian God, then you believe that God created us. God runs the show throughout the...
I love boxer briefs, but hate having legs that ride up my thighs when hiking/hunting. I eliminated that issue by switching to trunks, all that I've been wearing for 3 or 4 years.
If you want some entertainment, go to Craigslist and on the main page, in the left hand "table of contents" bar, click on "best of Craigslist and read some of those, there are some fantastic posts saved there.
Shot a 5-point bull some years ago, after less than 30 minutes of hunting. I was still hunting through the timber and stepped out from behind a tree to see him looking in the direction of my father, who was about 1/2 mile down the ridge from me.
The buck in my avatar was killed by my son (his...
Here's a couple of pictures to support my claim.
I've got a 1/4 inch of tread depth remaining.
And here's the paperwork showing my original milage and the install date. I previously said 2018, but I actually purchased them in November of 2019.
I've got about 70,000 miles on these tires...
Falken wildpeaks (10 ply, E rated) on my Tundra currently have 68,500 miles on them and I would guess they've got at least 20 - 30,000 more miles of life left in them. This truck gets driven 5 days a week and probably averages 500 miles/week.
My '08 Tundra has a little over 247,000 miles. Only thing repaired/replaced was the starter last October. Change the oil every 10,000 miles using Mobil 1 synthetic. Mechanically, the truck gives no indications that it won't keep running strong on its way to 500,000.
One more thing to consider is that with larger footprint tipis, it becomes increasingly more difficult to find a suitable location to place the tipi. I've occasionally had challenges finding a suitable level location for a 10 ft diameter tipi.
Agree with rayporter and bmart, I don't think you're going to be happy with 5 men sleeping on the ground, let alone on cots. You need to step up to the 16 man if you intend to use cots. Keep in mind they'll have to be backpacking type cots so that you can be closer to the ground and thus, able...
I just came in the house from changing the oil on my 2008 Toyota Tundra double cab, 5.7 liter. I am the second owner, purchased it with about 120,000 miles and it's now at 246,600. In the 7 years that I've owned it, I've had to replace the starter, otherwise zero issues. It averages about 15...
I'll echo what justinspicher said, my rifle or bow are either securely strapped to my pack or they're in my hands. I haven't used a sling on my rifle in 15+ years. Back when I did have a sling on my rifle, I found it cumbersome while hunting, potentially getting caught on brush/branches and...
How the heck is anyone supposed to be able to focus on that pack when they're distracted by all that "horn porn" going on in the background?! Great looking bucks, congrats!
Well, when it comes to patriotism, honesty and being made in USA, I guess for tipis, it's back to Kifaru. It's a shame, because I've stated previously (I'll own this @Kevin_t) that SO had taken what Kifaru had done, improved upon it and made a better product.
I think Gutshotem and BuckeyeRifleman both captured my thoughts regarding the response from @Kevin_t. He said a lot but didn't really say anything of any substance and definitely didn't take ownership of what we all now know he has stated previously. I agree with what others have said, you are...
