I hit the same ole spots time and time again ..... actually this thread makes me wish i had more also.... but they keep producing so not sure. I generally just move around to different places in the valley every day, i rarely hit the same place two days in a row - may just be a half mile down... -

Hard to say for sure without a toppo of the area and i wouldnt be releasing a toppo of any hunting spot on the internet. He likely headed for a bedding area and laid down, i'd run ridges within a mile and i'd be looking for crows and ravens. -

They could have been in the areas you found the fresh sign. I've seen an entire herd stuff themselves into a tiny finger of cover/pine trees up near the ridge with clearings on either side.... they came out to feed the clearings in the evenings but you'd never be able to tell glassing that... -

Guessing this is a typo because 81 is no longer OTC, was switched to a point unit 3 years ago. I dont know if the landowner will get vouchers or not, thats likely up to the landowner to apply for them but im unfamiliar with how all that is done. edit: for archery 81 is no longer OTC, you may... -

Hard to say, i expect things to continue looking the same, so they will likely release with a huge tag limit, and most will get a first choice tag out of it, unless they're wiling to lower the tag limits. The units ive hunted the last couple years are more crowded now than they were when they... -
2024 Bugle Report
No chance any ones missing the peak rut by mid September.... those bulls are just getting warmed up. Activity is gonna change day to day just based off of the cows coming into estrus or not and the weather will have some minor effect on that... but its really just about those cows -
