I have used 100 or 125 grain vented ToTAs for the past five seasons. They have been tremendous harvesting multiple elk and the broad head has been reusable. I want to try the solids out but my local shop doesn't carry them for some reason. Is there a reason you don't have interest in the solids?
My wife has adopted these Homemade bars into her own version and adds a couple scoops of protein. Clean eating with lots of calorie intake and they taste delicious.
I also recently discovered Kizee bars at Grocery Outlet which are a solid go to.
This past year while solo hunting I camped about a quarter mile away from a wallow I sit in the morning and evenings. I had got into two bulls on the ridge above the wallow during the day. I decided not to push them too hard since I had gotten to the zone after work. Once I backed off, I...
I got into hunting entirely independent which has aided my comfort level going into the woods solo. I typically go with a partner and we’d carry camp on our packs because there were several different routes we could pursue elk. The only variable was which way we would hear first or the most. My...
The clip is spectacular and I just grabbed a Peak Desigb’s shell to protect my camera if it rains. Like someone else said though, I also have a spare dry bag to toss my camera into within my pack for downpour
Not long at all. I’ve only used mine a couple times but the process goes: plop it down, stake the four corners, insert pole, finish staking, make any adjustments, and / or add guylines
This has taken me five minutes max, even with my 5 & 2 year olds trying to help out.
Could anyone who has received their pack share what size frame they got and what their height / torso length is? Just curious as I prep to make an order
Race and gender are always part of surveys. The organization is interested in identifying who specifically is providing feedback, I.e. is Colorado hearing a proportionate amount of feedback from their Indigenous population, Latino population, male / female, etc.
I feel like I haven’t seen any info about the Peax Solitude. It appears to be a sound tent, does anyone have any first hand experience? I love the concept of using the tree king poles at the peak to create stability and more room, seems pretty innovative and I’m sure other companies will mimic...
Like others my wife and I had our now 4 1/2 year old out beginning at two weeks, at a year did a two month camping trip through BC and Alberta with consistent snow showers. We utilized a dog bed rather than the pak-n-play that others reference. This established the fact that the dogs can sleep...
I measure 20" from tailbone to neck or C7. You can see in the picture that the shoulder strap is on the bottom horizontal rung. If I was an inch taller the pack would be perfect. When I picked up the padded hip and shoulder straps it made a noticeable difference in the way that weight was...
