    Neck tension.....

Bullet release/neck tension is an important part of the puzzle to getting low SD and ES. SD= Standard deviation ES= extreme spread For example- You chrono a load with proper neck tension practices at 5 SD and ES of 14. This set of numbers(SD and ES) will be hard to achieve with variances in...

    Heated floorless shelters/rodent issues

The crew got a little lazy in 15, base camp version, knew we had a problem started. Midday sun/relaxing heard a ruckus in the food tent. Little bastard made it into the peanut m&m's As these are camp favorites the 17hmr came out. Colorful bait was deployed around camp. Took back our pound of...

About 20 years ago I took the family "camping" in southern MO. I gave the obligatory speech about dangerous critters in our new environs. Made it through several days of fishing and 4 wheeling unscathed. One afternoon my #2 daughter comes running into camp saying she has done something really...

    Sunshades for scopes?

As they are very light in comparison to the rest of the rifle/scope I like them. Serve as a decent source of protection for the front lens as well. I'll wager you could rip it off the Night Force and not hurt the scope at all. R

    Oxygen deprivation mask

Have seen the devices, heard they were a gimmick. Something to consider, in the heat of the summer with high humidity you can get a version of thinner air. We are at 5-600 above sea level. I've seen 3500 DA in these conditions. While this isn't 10k it is some help. R

    what power range?

Either or, I'd say best price. With the correct scope rail both should take you to subsonic bullet flight. Your local DA will make that a ways out there. R
