Yeah that’s definitely not a good way to be a successful outfitting business. I would have pulled the plug too. Sorry you had to deal with all of that.
I’ve been on quite a few guided trips, good and bad. The red flags almost ALWAYS end up being there for a reason and the trip isn’t ever what...
I was 12 or 13yrs old and had saved up all my trapping money. I bought a Win Mod70 in .270 and a Leupold 3-9 Rifleman. Killed my first deer at 15 with it. Ive killed a lot of animals with that gun over the years. Been to Africa, Canada, Texas, Arkansas. Still have it but haven’t hunt with it for...
Just got back from McCall. By far the best thing to do is call for forest service or F&G office. They will be more up to date on any closures than any internet site will be.
The only roads closed were over in Stanley/Garden Valley HW21. Everything around McCall was open.

I think having more guns is fun. A whole lot of my guns are classics or heirlooms so my count doesn’t apply to a lot of people.

Nomad on a bikini and a mountain warrior on duplex.
Love the old bags. Wish I had never sold my Tarryall or my 22 Mag

I use each of these in different scenarios.
Kifaru 14’r
Kifaru Duplex with Stryker
Kifaru Bikini with nomad and Sherman pocket
I just got a Kuiu Icon and need a smaller bag to go with it to try.
My 14’r is my most used pack for whitetail. It’ll hold a whole boned out deer but it’ll be...
Man I’m glad you made it out ok. That sounds like a rough experience. Definitely keep us updated on your condition.

I don’t know what the differences are but mine is a ‘21 GMC AT4 3500 6.6 Duramax and 10 speed Allison. I put 30-40k miles a year and I’ve only done oil changes and rotated tires.
It does have air bags in the back and a cognito suspension with fox shocks. Not lifted though.
I absolutely love...
This is the one I still use. Still going strong. It’s never worked great with my phone for some reason. So I just use the Inreach itself. I think it’s user error on that but whatev.

I’m in AR as well where we just switched from Muzzy to alternate. I’ve always wanted to shoot something with my straight levers so it’s a great excuse to do so. I’ll still keep my muzzy too as I love that gun.
Just got a Pedersoli Creedmoor in 45-90 to try out. Taking it after bison this Dec...
From personally experience and what little I know about mechanics and physics, that head would never out penetrate a 3:1 straight blade of same weight, speed, etc.
Best test I’ve ever found to show how much Entergy can be dumped is taking a tanned elk hide and testing Broadheads by putting a...
Those are good ideas. You could also have a micarta made into bow grips or have a knife made with that as the handle. If you made a knife you can carry that anywhere and not just while hunting.

Finally had two show up. We have an early velvet season this year in AR. Big old 7pt and a nice 10pt. Still haven’t seen the 10 in full so don’t know how old.
