That’s a great use of those. Thanks for the further explanation. I was thinking of doing little slots similar to the decked system where you could reach in and get to the tow straps. Not sure how to go about it quite yet but in theory that’s what I was thinking. It may have smaller drawers to be...
I was going through this thread and figured I would bring it back up to the top. I don't have a topper on my truck anymore but use a kodiak canvas truck tent to camp in the back. I was thinking about DIYing something up like this thread. Those that have made a DIY version of decked, do you think...
I think there is more to the question. Are you trying to go light? Are you camping in wind prone areas? Are you planning on camping in deadfall? Wet conditions? What State? For what its worth here is my take, I have owned floorless and free standing and most of my hunts now a days are backpack...
I think you are going to see a pass through on elk and more than likely a moose. That’s some serious weight (kinetic energy and momentum) you have in those arrows. As long as your FOC is not terrible, I didn’t calculate it, and you’re spined correctly with that much weight up front I bet you’re...
I voted diet. Like others have mentioned, I do good and then I fall off. I think my struggle is family. We have a 3 year old so we eat what he wants to eat to a point. I don't complain about dinners as my wife typically does those unless were doing steak or something I can grill. I am trying to...
I hope you guys can post up some videos when you get it. Really hoping to see some in action videos. I really want to try one of these lightweight heads.
that’s an early one! He looks healthy though which is just good to see. Robby you’re right on about leaving the animals alone. I used to not be for shutting shed season down for a couple months but the animals need it. I wish Wyoming would shut the whole state down until May.
I agree with above. Most of us who buy and sell gear shouldn’t be taxed. I would rather sell my stuff on this platform than fbook so that kind of takes out the locals. But I think you all may be right, we will just need to keep track of gear purchases. Ugh. Tax folders are getting pretty thick. Ha
That is some great information! Thanks. So what do you think you could do if you bought something prior to 2022 and don’t have copies? Just go to the website and say, I have this product, this is what I paid?
How is everyone managing the new tax law? I am trying to sell my Cimarron and needed to use goods and services. With the new tax code, I would be hit with a 24% income tax on $800. That’s $192. Plus the shipping, and PayPal fees. Just wanted to hear some thoughts and discussion as I am pretty...
For me it’s just to keep my hands as clean as possible and my hand always have cuts on them so it helps keep blood from getting into my cuts. When I am alone I use Kevlar gloves and rubber gloves.
