I have bought and sold quite a few bows. My current bow was bought used from a guy who won it and an elk banquet. It was a flagship bow and I paid 40% off. It was definitely worth the lack of warranty. I used to do my own work so it didn’t bother me. Today I may rethink it because I don’t have a...
I have used the gen 1 since day 1. I love it. But the new system looks great. I like the idea of the wings to prevent some flopping. It’s not much but my rangefinder pouch does flop a little. By far the best one for me. Leaning towards trying this one out. Got the catalog right after I ordered a...
Look them up on AliBaba or aliexpress. There are some that don’t require you to order multiples. I bet you could even see about a Rokslide split to order some. That is where most of the companies are ordering them from. At least in my research that is what I have found.
Been using outdoor class since it came out. It’s pretty good but question to anyone who has had to reach out to get help on billing. I was charged the membership in December but cannot access any of the content. I reached out to their generic help but no answer for three days. Does anyone have...
Thanks for adding that article. I just went to the local paper. Ha. It is interesting and that’s where I was going. It was roughly the same fine and that was to someone on their payroll. Not sure if it said it in that article but he was actually a bear biologist.
This is the sad thing about the justice system. Yes he was honest and yes he made a mistake but not a $10k one. This will deter some honesty but also deter bear hunting. I hope the father and son continue to hunt but I also understand if they don’t. I know if that happened to me, I would have to...
I check daily via the phone number when I have a bait site or have plans to head to the mountain. I may be overly cautious but I call right before I lose service and make sure the quota hasn’t been met. Then I take a screen shot of the time I called. My last bear I killed, quota closed when I...
I couldn't agree more with the adjustable waist. I have beat the snot out of my pair and love them. I wear them in all kinds of weather from early season to negative temps. Personally I don't use the adjustable waist but I have discussed with another buddy who is tall and skinny (like Kurt), and...
I did the post-season, Spring Training and then started pre-season. My travel time for work went crazy for the last couple months so I did a modified Spring Training/Pre-season. I pulled some of the workouts I could do in hotel gyms and made it work. I love the program. I got it when it was a...
I would say travel as much as you can. Go to those places you want to go too as someday will never come. Take risks! Don’t but a new truck. Don’t buy the house. Go on a honey moon. Don’t be so cheap. Spend time hunting and go camping. Don’t live in tomorrow, live in today.
If I am in non-grizz country I usually get to camp around 9/10 pm. Depending on how far I am on the mountain. In grizz country, I don't leave before daylight and I come out before dark. I don't hunt much in grizz country currently. I will be if we move to Cody though.
