Similar situation for years I worked a private sector salaried job w/ all the perks and no time off. Traded it for a public sector job 4 mins from home. m-f 8-5, no holidays no weekends.
Took about 1 year to really settle into the new income bracket
The extra time is great, no communication...
Very little experience with sig brass but I see this in my local sportsman’s https://www.sportsmans.com/shooting-gear-gun-supplies/reloading-equipment-supplies/brass/sig-sauer-338-norma-magnum-rifle-reloading-brass-25-count/p/1684270

If you want to flute a bolt for whatever reason
The best pattern I’ve found is wrought iron by LRI
It’s smooth and won’t bind

Shot quite a few deer, antelope. pigs and bears with 95 and 129 ssts in 6mm rem and 260 rem respectively
They wound like a match bullet but give up quite a bit of bc
I would expect dead critters.

I was selling guns at a major hit box store
After the 6.5 cm CTR came out we couldn’t give away the 223 CTR.
It would be really easy to mock one up from a T3X receiver with 223 bolt face. Prefit barrel and stock from the classifieds

Well chalk this up to the not worth it fairy.
Tried adg, Peterson and lapua brass and 4 powder/ bullet combos and could not get more than 100 fps over my 22 creedmoor loads
Accuracy wasn’t great, not terrible. 1.2-1.5 moa for 5.
Pulled the barrel at 800 rounds, throat had not moved as much as...
The only drawback is factory ammo with the 103/108.
You can reload both
Correct there’s no difference especially if you use m+mags you can get that 243 really cooking with the extra capacity

Hornady has a 75 bolt gun load at 3250 with a 24” test barrel
I’d bet with the right loader you’d get there even at 12.5”

My slowest gun with a 3-12 klassik is a 16.1” 223. It’s a tikka receiver and sportsmatch rings and has about 6.5 mils of elevation with a 100 yard zero.
But yeah 20moa is like 5.5 mils so you’d probably zero very low and have a bunch of unused elevation
