    Check out the Vibe brand. I used to have a sit on Vibe Ghost I believe?? I forget the specs, but load rated for 500lb, sturdy, and sit on. Sit in will be better for swift/rapids. I sold it and bought a Hobie Outback pedal yak the beach fishing.. I would eve look into a used one.

    It goes back to voting, sadly. Our state mostly has liberal Governors over time. The Gov. appoints liberal district commissioners that don't do sportsman any favors. Tree huggers get jobs in the forest service limiting that the forests are managed for the people's interest and not the wildlife...

    I remember about 30 years ago the rainbows setting up camp on USFS land here in WNC. The Forest service finally got them run off after crapping all over the place. IIRC, a lot of them got sic and clogged up the local hospital system. We were better off when the Moonies were handing out fake poppies.
