    Good shop on the west slope?

    Red Rocks in Grand Junction helped my elk hunting bud out of a jam when my buddy dry fired his Bowtech by accident. Red Rocks treated him well and didn’t seem to charge him an extra dumbass tax to restring it while he waited.

    What cartridge is it chambered for? I couldn’t imagine that it would matter unless you’re talking about a magnum like a 338 or 375.

    Sitka Hiking

    We took a boat out to Mt Edgecomb, did an overnight at a shelter. Hiked to the top, near the caldera if I remember right. Verstovia was also nice. My memory could be off a bit, this was back in 2002ish, stayed about a month working in Sitka.

    T/C Contender Carbine - Caliber Advice

    6.5 Grendel or 6mm ARC would be interesting in that platform and fairly flat shooting, the 7.62x39 with appropriate bore would be an inexpensive blaster if cheap surplus ammo is available across the pond
