    Id try to figure out a way to get another 50-75gr on that arrow. I’ve killed plenty Alabama whitetails with an arrow that same weight. Got 1 pass through in the rib cage. Many that didnt pass through and didnt even break the skin on the other side. Had to change the set up.

    The preacher guy who kills moose on youtube under Limitless Outdoors says in his gear list video that he uses a Kuiu pack and used the same one for about 4-6 moose total if Im not mistaken. I think its this video.

    Ive recently been reading the Ashby research and once my new bow arrives I will be front loading a heavy arrow. I do wish, for hunting purposes, that I could use a shorter arrow for better penetration. Do you shoot off a flipper rest of some sort?

    Hey bisblue, just trying to help, but you may get better flight with a weaker shaft. I asked what inserts you were using cause unless they were 450gr inserts I have a hard time seeing how your set up works. As we all know, there is lots if trial and error in this wonderful hobby.
