    .264 vs .284

I'll definitely try them at some point, and if the T3X will stabilize them that will be a huge bonus, but I'm not going to hold my breath quite yet. I'm actually not sure if it is 1:9 or 1:9.5 as I see it listed both ways. I'll check it with a cleaning rod as soon as it arrives.

7mm Rem Mag Norma Bondstrike Velocity?

Anybody chrono'd 165 Factory Bondstrike 7RM? I could only find one post about it and he got something like 200fps slower than the box claims. I'm wondering if that was a fluke or if it's typical. I'd love to hear what velocity you got and what your barrel length is.

    ELD-Ms Work.

I don't currently have experience with either flavor of ELD. What is the primary advantage of the M on game? I see in many sizes the M is heavier, so more bullet to fragment, but in a case such as 7mm 162gr where both M and X are the same mass, what sort of wound difference could be expected?

    The Shoot2hunt Podcast

Yeah I think it was especially bad since they used a Fade Through Black transition for every cut/camera change. So the screen kept blacking out over and over all epileptically...

    Terminal Ascent accuracy issues?

Yep, somewhere someone else has a 6.5prc that will put Terminal Ascent through one hole but won't keep 140 Accubonds on a dinner plate. Each barrel is an individual.

    .264 vs .284

I can hear the blood pressure ramping up as everyone read the title... I'm not asking how people generally feel about these particular calibers. I'm not asking about recoil differences. I'm not asking about BC or wind calls or any other external ballistics. I'm not asking about factory ammo...

.223 for bear, mountain goat, deer, elk, and moose.

Got my first RSS kill. Tiny button buck at 130 yards. He was quartering away to the left and was lower than me but facing uphill so that I could see the top of his back. That makes the shot placement look really high but the bullet traveled downward and diagonally through on a path that would...

I have a hungry Savage Ultralite in 7 prc. What does it like to eat?

I don't think it works that way. I think each individual barrel might shoot best with a different load regardless of the make & model of the rifle.

    Elk Don't Exist

So, for you successful guys: 1 How far are you typically hunting from an accessible road? 2 Are you all using dirt bikes, ATVs, UTVs, pack animals or something like that to get from the road to your spots? Or is it feasible to park the truck and walk in (and back out) far enough? 3 I'm...
