Well I enjoy the hunt, archery is all I do for big game. And what I am going to do is hunt Africa every third or fourth year, now. Javelina and pigs in Texas every year. I do have a number of preference points here for elk, I will use eventually though.

“Do as you please, just dont forget to mask up, social distance wear a helmet and get your latest vaccine booster! “ But what ever, I for one didn’t mean for this to go side ways the way it has. I am obviously on the, I ain’t taking a chance on this, and many here are on the other side and...

Another 18 year old I take it ? Or just someone that thinks he ( she) knows everything ? The meat has been taken care of, but I am willing to donate any future positive animals, to any one that wants it.

Well, it has not been known to transfer to humans at this time, and no body knows the incubation period, if or when it ever does. All I am saying is I ain’t eating, nor feeding that positive meat to my family or any body else I know.I don’t know why some have a problem with that. I will take the...

Because any little trace of “ meat” left on or in any little nock or cranny, ( like bolster to blade, grinder tube or plate, etc) will still contain the prions. You may not see it, but it’s still there.

Wow, how old are you ? And yes I will stop hunting when I decide it’s time, weather it’s CWD that causes that decision, age, or death I don’t know at this time. But not sure why what I do, makes such a big deal to you ? Why does it ?

Well of course I am not getting rid of my truck or any thing like that, smart a$&(. I did soak or wipe down every thing in bleach, which I do regardless for clean up. I discarded the things I thought needed to be, cutting boards probably being the most obvious. I never reuse game bags or...

And my cutting boards, nor my processing equipment is all stainless steel. In fact none of it is.

Biologist told me to be certain, discard everything. Said they don’t recommend nor trust any type of bleach solution as a 100% guarantee, and those studies are for stainless steel only, not plastics or other metals. And it don’t matter now, it’s all been thrown out.

I am far less concerned of a flu, vs a 100% fatal deadly brain prion. Of course I have been reading a ton about it now. And really they don’t have a clue what is going to become of it.

I guess it depends which study you want to go by. I personally ain’t taking the chance.

Well no, no confirmed cases. They don’t test any humans for it. If there is no way to test for it, of course there are none.

I have always had every thing tested, and until now haven’t had an issue. And yes this will weigh in on future hunts for sure. I have already started to concentrate more on birds, and antelope. It would be nice if they had an infield test, you could do immediately after the kill. Would save a...

Every one gets a choice as long as they told about it. If your eating some that a buddy says he tested ( but like the guy above, some times don’t). Or feeding it to young ones that have no clue, choice. And how do they know the effects it would have on humans, never having tested for it. And iam...

This is not correct, “Bleach isn't the cure-all for CWD. It only works on nonporous surfaces, but it's the first thing scientists have discovered that inactivates the abnormal prion that's wreaking havoc on cervid herds.” Another article : The researchers worked with CWD-infected brains from...

So your kids where good eating it or not ? You said you would not feed it to them knowingly. But yet you say “ we” ate it after testing positive. You may want to get it straight, and if you live and hunt in an endemic area and don’t have them tested, you are most likely feeding them positive...
